Hey, i am getting this error in the admin panel.
Parse error: parse error in /usr/home/mrsexy/public_html/forum/admin/admin_ug_auth.php on line 602
I am using tbartold's version...

Here is my /admin/admin_ug_auth.php lines 602-613

Code: Select all

else if ( ( $mode == 'user' && ( isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['username']) || $user_id ) ) || ( $mode == 'group' && $group_id ) )
{
	if ( isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['username']) )
	{
		$this_userdata = get_userdata($HTTP_POST_VARS['username'], true);
		if ( !is_array($this_userdata) )
		{
			message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, $lang['No_such_user']);
		}
		$user_id = $this_userdata['user_id'];
	}
Also, I know this is a really dumb question...

How do i make the users SUPER MODERATORS? Am i just missing something or forgot to do something?

If you would have searched the forums for this, you would know. You have to go into phpMyAdmin, browse table phpbb_users, and change the user levels of whoever you want to be super moderator to 3.

I still have the same problem with the ACP like before. Does anyone know the answer?

I've searched for this , but i don't read this in never post.

I want to restrict the permission to supermod; infact he can modify the admin , moderator and hother super mod user data (password , email , and hother) but i want which super mod can modify only normal user data.

How i can do this?

I'm sorry for my English.

I'm curious if anyone has managed to figure out the editing and such. I read through most of the pages of this thread and I know that it wasn't supported or anything. I'm just curious if anyone has made any progress on it? If not, that's cool too, just something that I thought I'd ask..

Man....i suppose no one knows the answer to my earlier post.

I am also getting this error...

Code: Select all

Parse error: parse error in /usr/home/mrsexy/public_html/forum/super_mod/pagestart.php on line 28

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /usr/home/mrsexy/public_html/forum/super_mod/index.php on line 572
This error occurs when the super mod tries to go into the panel...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Right, i've just installed this mod on 2.0.8
and i must say, it's a great mod. i tried the other admin mods, but they just ended up screwing up my forum :?

I have read through all 36 pages, yes that's right I read ALL of them, between last night and today (basically chaecking for updates that aren't in the zip).
I've gotten everything to work except one thing. I think it's been covered earlier on, but i can't remember where and it's not till now that i noticed it.
Anyway, my problem is setting a user/admin to the new supermod setting in permissions. I have tried seeting people, but it just reverts to what they were (i have tried it with 2 admins i have on my board).
Will i need to reset their status to user before i make them super mods?
I have added in all the permissions i want them to have, so i don't need to worry about that. it's just setting them to super that i can't do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And thanks again for a great mod :)

*edit* i just tried reseting and admin to a user and then setting their user status to super but it didn't work. any ideas??
