After rudely hijacking a thread (I am very sorry) I decided to open a fresh one. Some people have given some good feedback and suggestions.

Are you talking about this mod?

Just curious! :D

Since that mod wasn't what I was looking for me and a buddy worked this one up. I got a working beta forum up right now if you'd like to see it. If I get enough of a response I will submit the mod here.

[edit] I forgot to include the code for the one oddball book of the Bible (Song of Solomon). It needs its own Regular Expression (or since it is the only book with 3 words in it maybe I can just check for that string). Well the other books are working right now.[/edit]

This is really great and I'm looking forward to seeing it finished!

Ahh, you're Pentecostal!
Interdenominational, actually.

You could just use "Song_of_Solomon" and, when displaying the name of the book, just replace any occurance of "_" with a blank space?

Wouldn't mind a copy of that - would be rather neat for a couple of forums I know.

Very cool! Maybe I'll install it on my church's forum (once we get one).

Wow, thanks for the compliment. I'll probably be available early next week. :)

OK. I think we have it now...I'd like to ask if you can run it through its paces and see if there are any problems before we make an official release.

Let me know...post at the test forum:

Thanks for your help

Sorry to be impatient, but when do you think you will have this available for general release?

Available here. I do not know how to make it compliant for submission here at phpbb.com so if someone wants to help me with that I will submit it here as well.

:)

Bible Verse Mod

It should have the name of my buddy Karl on that page too but it doesn't. His name is still in the readme.txt install instructions though. I have emailed them to get that fixed.

Please leave a message in the test forum if you need help installing.

Where'd you get the MySQL database of the KJV? And can you get other translations that way too?
