[FINAL] Prune inactive/Zero posters

Post by Niels Chr. Denmark »

On reqest I have made a Prune inactive / Prune zero posters mod

the mod is a Drop-in, and requeire litle modification to exsiting files

The drop in, wil show excatly witch users who will be deleted, and you can change for how meny days it shall skip new users

in the drop-in, you can choise between to delete zero posters, or inactive posters

I will proberly follow up with one more, something like:
"Delete users who haven't visited the board for X days"

The mod, is submitted into the download page, and awaiting approvment
until then demo is NOT availeble at my site, as you will have to be admin user to use it, BETA download is availeble

the link should "pop-up" automatically, no need to do anything, else than the changes to language file.

just make shure, the file names are not changed and the placement is inside the ADMIN dir
delete_users.php are though in the root of phpbb2

I have today, updated the files, so the are "easy to costomice" so you can add you own types of deletion creteria

Oh, I'nm at work now, but are home in about 1 hour, I guess I have made a typo in the new how-to, the structure of the code, have changed, and maybe I haven't got it all included in the how-to
I'll be back

I have now corrected the download, there was a error in the admin_prune_users.php

You can either download and replace the file, or do this.

Code: Select all

[FIND]
$module['General'][$lang['Prune_inactive']] = $filename;
[REPLACE]
$module['General'][$lang['Prune_users']] = $filename;
about the missing optins in the "window", I must ask you if you have updated the lang_admin.php file, there have been some major changes, tese are done so it will be mutch eayer to add your own deletions creteria, if you have some SQL skills
