I'm using the above 'lite' version of this mod in order to provide a "mobile" (cell phone) version of my board. Excellent mod!

First I would like to say - awesome mod - just installed it.

I also installed the mod that adds to it a count of how many are using each theme in viewtopics and profile.

My problem is - and I posted this on your forums but they seem to have become silent for a few months - is that it has stopped the attachment mod ( from being able to display the attached items within posts...

Any idea which variable or what to look for that may have caused this conflict...?

I changed the s= to style= but that did not fix the problem... using same board as yourself - 2.011

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! :)

I really need to get the attachment mod working again but don't want to have to remove this awesome mod to do so :(

There is a security issue in version 0.9.7 (and older) of the Change Style MOD that allowes attackers to get password hash values of users. This has been fixed in version 0.9.8.

To fix existing installations do the following:

Open: includes/functions.php

Code: Select all

if ( intval($style) == 0 )
Replace with:

Code: Select all

if ( !is_numeric($style) )

Just a quick one, you know that when a user logs in then changes the style it automatically updates their profile. Is there anyway to disable this or fix the problem I have.

I have a mobile skin and a web skin, so when a user has visited the site on the web, then logs in on his/her mobile, it automatically loads up the web skin which is time consumin and uses many kb of peoples gprs allowance.

Then when they log back into the forum via the web, the mobile template loads.

I noticed that Apocs doesn't do this..

Is there a way around this.

By the way, this is a top mod... :D

First of all you have to override user style. And the trick is that you have to change mod code that once a style has been defined with the "s" parameter it has to be uses on all pages until a user browses further than the forum.

is it possible to include an url parameter, which switchs the style to the default-style from the acp?

like "?s=default", instead of the acp default-style name or id
