Hey cyberalien.. its a really cool mod, however I dont have ftp access to my server, only SFTP/SSH.. so, I cant use half of it :( I was wondering if you could use some kind of php fopen thing for the template editor, so I could still edit the templates if its chmoded 777..

Is there any possible way you can use that, or something like it instead of ftp for the template editing?

Don't worry - you still have direct access to files. Make directory "templates" writable and that option will automatically appear.

yoeddy: yes.

Worked fine CyberAlien!

Thank you.

I must be doing something wrong, I go to the extreme styles menu, click edit templates.. then navigate to the desired file, which is chmod 777.. make the changed, click submit, and it prompts me for my ftp info.. what am I doing wrong? EVERY file in templates, and the folder itself is chmoded... what am I dont wrong?

Whole directory should be writable to see that option. That extra option is intended to be used on forums like local forum on win32 computer where php can write everywhere, so script checks if directory "templates" is writable instead of checking file that you want to upload.

url is www.ddesignz.de

but currently i'm using the old template.php

with other styles (e.g. fisubsilversh) the new v2 template.php works fine

is it maybe the bad html code?
because i made some changes in special .tpl files in the past which were very bad ;)

You have errors in memberlist_body.tpl: <!-- BEGIN forum_content--> and <!-- END forum_content-->. Remove those 2 lines and it will work.

Hello,

I have a small error with the pcp MOD.

If I add a new field the file def_userfields.php contains comments then (placed below this message for example).I will like to know where to block the addition of these comments

Code: Select all

<!-- BEGIN table -->

Code: Select all

<!-- END tables -->
Thanks for your help and this mod :wink:

Looks like you have error in tpl file. Open that tpl file, find <!-- END tables --> and replace with <!-- END table -->

If you don't know filename of that tpl file then in mod settings enable comments, then go to that page and in your browser look at page source and it will add comments that contain filenames of all included tpl files.

Thanks this bug is fixed 8)

Fix for pcp 2.0.0

Open templates/subSilver/admin/pcp_userfields_def.tpl

Find

Code: Select all

<!-- BEGIN table -->
		'table' => array(
			'main'	=> '{values.MAIN}',
			'key'	=> '{values.KEY}',
			'txt'	=> '{values.TXT}',
			'img'	=> '{values.IMG}',
		),
		<!-- END tables -->
Replace by

Code: Select all

<!-- BEGIN table -->
		'table' => array(
			'main'	=> '{values.MAIN}',
			'key'	=> '{values.KEY}',
			'txt'	=> '{values.TXT}',
			'img'	=> '{values.IMG}',
		),
		<!-- END table -->
Enjoy 8)

OK, i must really be doing something wrong, but I have the templates dir chmoded 777, and everything in it 777, so it deffinatly has write access, but when I try to edit a template, I click submit and it asks for the ftp info! Where is that option you mentioned?
