i think someone used binary on these files instead of ASCII cause it's all garbled when i try to read the text file...

Anyone have one working?

ok i got it working, but i want to put the news mod on my front page, not on the phpbb index page, how would i do this?

@Grizly: Grr! Please read 2 posts up!!! ;) Download here.

@Shin: The text may look garbled, but that's prolly cause your using an editor that does not support raw linefeeds (lf instead of cr/lf, ie notepad!!!). For a better editor instead of notepad that will load/save in bare linefeeds (as the phpBB Group, last I heard of, was encouraging) is metapad.

@All: Hmmm... they seem to be fixing some of the problems... I can use apache in my root directory (wyvern.com.au/~sam/) but nothing below... not even admin! it's REALLY frustrating!

Have installed v1.1.3 of this on 2.0.2, but and am getting an error when clicking the expand link....have code in overall_header from rollout categories MOD, would this be effecting it??

I had both these working on 2.0.1...any ideas sj??

rollout and news mod are different in code ATM. I will fix NewsMod soon...

SJ: Got the clashing javascript problem all sorted!! Happily say both these MODs work together!!!

Also added Global Announcements to your MOD, let me know and I can send you the changed files if you like.....;)
