I think he meant using usergroups as 'teams'.

So it would be easier to give 'teams' permission to private forums without the hassle of adding to a usergroup again.

As you know phpBB has the capability of having unlimited amounts of usergroups. Will your ladder system use these usergroups in the ladder system, or will they use a different database table set aside for the ladder participants.

If you are familiar with the SOCOM franchise, you can have a "clan" of members, around 16 people, and your "clan" can participate in "wars" with other "clans". That is where your ladder MOD will be of great benefit to our site.

Anyway, I was just wondering if your MOD would use the usergroups of phpBB, just the individual members, or would your MOD allow creation of a new "group" soley for the purpose of the ladder?

I hope I explained my question better, and thanks for taking the time to ask. Keep up your work on this highly anticipated MOD.

Thanks A.I.

I think not using the usergroups would ultimately be better, but I just had to make sure. We all appreciate your hard work.

I run a board for Xbox gamers. In it, members are divided into 4 clans and the clans play against each other all the time. Points are awarded to winners. I think that your mod might work well for us, so I'm looking forward to your release!
