I'm still confident, that I can hold that deadline ...
... so just another 5 hours to wait :roll:

Meh. Five hours is nothing. Take your time to make sure that you've rooted out any problems and have ironed it to perfection (or so you would think, until bugs and typos are found, if any exist). Better to wait longer and be presented with a product by which much time was given, than to wait for less time and be presented with a rushed product, unless your life depended on it or you were contractually obligated.

I will at least sort out all errs that I can check for in my local environment ... this will include applying it once to a vanilla phpBB by hand(This will help me in declaring the time the MOD takes to apply) and once that is done, I'll install it with EM onto a vanilla phpBB and onto a local copy of my DEMO-board, which already includes my other MODs, to check if it can coexist with some other stuff :wink:

Could have been me saying that :mrgreen:

Cheers,
Manfred.

Well ... you had to wait a little longer than 5 hours, but good things take their time 8)

I released the BETA 0.6.0 ... you'll find everything you need in the first post of this topic

Enjoy,
Manfred.

found one first "bug" ...
If you don't enter any rules in the according text-field, but still choose to display the Rules(although in such a case there is nothing to display) in any of the three modules, the Rules-table will appear empty(except for the title) on top of the according module!

Not really a bug, but I will implement a check before INSERTing or UPDATEing the fourms-TABLE ... if the Rules are empty, then the 'These Forum Rules appear on top of' ... -optins will be automatically set to OFF.

Will update soon, and maybe someone finds a _real_ bug 8O

Cheers,
Manfred.

So I can see, that you even make use of the option to configure in which module the RULES should appear :-)

May I assume, that you installed this without problems? And did you do it "by hand" or did you use EasyMOD?

Cheers,
Manfred.

Is there anything I could do to improve my MOD then?

Where abouts did you have to tweak ... code AND/OR template-side?
Or did you just have to adjust some of the FINDs to get the right place to add my stuff?

Let me know ...

Well ... I thought that was the best place to add my css-definitions. Otherwise I would have to add them somewhere in the middle of all unrelated stuff, that would on the other hand maybe be more likely to be found ... e.g.:

Code: Select all

a.copyright:hover {
for overall_header.tpl ?

BTW, my FIND should read like

Code: Select all

-->
</style>
.. so I guess your quote was just a typo?
