that works great thanks.
2 questions though -

1. i can't seem to get the Moderators to show on the sub-forums
2. how can i add a line break between the last post name and the date, on both the index and viewforum, as it's stretching my tables :P

*edit* nevermind question 2, i got that one lol :lol:

Do you have any mods assigned to that subforum?
2. how can i add a line break between the last post name and the date, on both the index and viewforum, as it's stretching my tables :P

change (both on index and viewforum):

Code: Select all

$last_post .= ' '.$last_post_time;
to

Code: Select all

$last_post .= '<br> '.$last_post_time;

Yes try to install my mod, because the one on your link is pretty much the original harishankar mod (i don't see any improvements).

Hallo Niekas,

great mod, but I also have got a problem when opening index.php.

The error message is like this :

Code: Select all

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/heartcore/germaniaforum/index.php on line 344
and line 344 is

Code: Select all

if ( $is_auth_ary[$forum_id]['auth_view'] && $attached_id == -1 )
Thank you for your support!!

save your index.php as txt file and upload to your server. Reply with a link. I'll check into it.

This mod doesn't look up moderators of children forum once you view parent forum.

i see your subforum has one moderator and is displaying it fine:

Quite a few mistakes - try to be more careful

You added new function on the top of index.php and then replaced the code inside of that function with another code from the mod, because it was similar. So you messed up 2 places at once. Also you forgot to add "}" in the bottom.

Try to work it, just be patient.

You're probably using old harishanker's template.
Don't get me wrong - mod info can be queried and displayed, but it is really redundant at this point.

If i move this mod to new grounds -> make real attached forum mod (so forums can be attached n levels deep) i'll add such feature, but for now it will have to wait.
