Hi!

Could you please format your topic starter using the format described in section 3 of the MOD Beta Development Forum Rules. This might help to avoid copy/paste problems getting the code from the post itself.

Thanks

I'm new to this "radio" stuff and have a couple of questions:

1. If I upload mp3 files, will this mod allow my users to listen to them but not download them?

2. What's radio.php and are there some radio sources that can be used for continuous listening? How do I find them?

sorry i should have stated if you check the folder named rbs file creation tool, youll see a readme,
it states
Copy all the mp3 files that you would like on your radio into this folder and then run "convert64.bat" for high-quality and "convert32.bat"
for low-quality... and the converted files (read: the ones you NOW want) will come out in sounds directory once the proccess is complete.upload these rbs files to the sounds dir on the server now point to radio.php and listen to your tracks.

and people will not be able to download your songs either, as they are in now way accessable unless you know where they are and know the name of each song.
If you are runing Windows XP you should use convert_xp.bat.
all other os can run "convert64.bat" or "convert32.bat" .

the files will play continuosly, you can encode any mp3 file,
you can edit the xml file to change the colours of the radio to your colours
the radio.php is for the page on wich the radio is setup to play. it uses the phpbb database to check user is logged in , if they are not then they have to login before they can use the mod.

hope this helps.

pretty cool mod, but it only plays on that particular page... is there a way to set it up so the user can listen to it on every page of the site?

yes sorry if you press window you get a popup wich can then be played wile navigating round the site, even if navigated away from the site, the radio will continue to play in a window of its own. hope this helps,

Great MOD, to bad that Flash code is stolen. Not saying its by you, but that almost exact format is used by Radio Blog [ http://www.radioblogclub.com ] There was even a MOD made for this allready phpBBRADIO

So it dosn't look like you're very original. Considering you make absolutly no use of template files, and your files look very, very, very similar to the structure of the other MOD. Sorry, but this looks stolen.
