how about having it check the topic instead of the moddb so mods that are in dev can use it if they have the correct post syntax.
This is like a feature i had in mind for the next major version (after 1.0.0).
When admin adds a mod, he can also add information about the topic refering to the development of the mod.
Then he is able to check for both released and development versions of the mod, or just for only one of them.
The problem is that most topics in the development forum do not follow a template, since a "template" that exists here
is not actually required. Also in the same post, i can't really understand the following:
# You must not post your MOD Template as plain text inside your topic, rather it must be made available as a download, either from your site or by registering for some kind of free file hosting (I recommend using Yahoo Drive or FilePub. For images, I'd recommend ,Yoxio or Pixya)
