I don't think I'd hold my breath waiting for this mod. FrankTheKnife hasn't posted for three months and I don't see anything new on his web site, either.

That's slick though. Anyone else figure it out yet?

Man I really could use something like this. I wasn't able to see his site though but from the sound of it, it is exactly what I need.

I would have been happy to start this but his site isn't even up and I don't know where to get the real time scores. I was think rss but I can't find any rss feeds with the actual scores besides headlines on foxsports, espn, or any other major sport site

have you considered yahoo , they have descent sports coverage .
i think almost any of the sports sites would be willing to help with this , if you included a link to them . like only showing basic scores with this mod and adding a 'click here' for full scoreboard , or something like that . the 'click here' link of course , being the link to the sport site .

I know you can IFRAME the scores from www.cbssportsline.com and I'm not sure if this is what he was using.

Well, I would need several programs to open that up, and I would have to learn C++ and .NET. Too much for me.

I'm going to share with you the code to put this on your forum. I don't remember where I got it and I won't offer support. Of course, you'll have to modify some code to match your style. You can see what it looks like on my portal page, by clicking the www link at the bottom of my post.

Code: Select all

<form name=sports action="">
           <table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline">
               <tr>
                {TPL_HDR1_SMALL}Select a Sport:{TPL_HDR2_SMALL}<table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline">
               </tr>
               <tr>
                    <td class="row1" align="center">
                         <select name="sport_select" onchange="window.open(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value,'sport_frame')">
