Do you guys review and list non-Open Source MODs?

I've developed one and am planning to market it. Would love for the official people to confirm it's safe/MOD template compliant and all that.

The reviewed MODs are released in the mod-database, wich is free and open-source. But best wait for an "official" answer ;)

We don't allow mods that aren't free in the MODDB.

Okay, I'm a bit confused. I created a new mod called Living Avatars (http://www.livingavatars.com) that works with phpBB2 but I'm not sure if it will work with 'easymod'. It's a large mod that requires its own folder on the server. Example: public_html/forum/living_avatars/

It's free & is a mod for phpBB2 but is not your typical mod, where do I post it?

Also, does each new version of a mod have to go through validation? (ex: 101, 102, 103, etc)

Feel free to Open a Development Topic into the MODs in Development Forum for this (pay attention please to the Forum Rules and the like, there.. see announcements), the EasyMod thinghy it is required if you're bound to submit it to our MODDB.

All the submitted MODs needs to work at least on a fresh install of the latest phpBB with the latest available release of EasyMod.

New versions of a MOD need to be validate again if you want to update your previous Validated MOD on our MODDB , yes.
🆓 Free support for our extensions also provided here: phpBB Studio

I do not see anywhere to submit MODs to the MODs database. Is this function currently unavailable?

Thanks,
Ron

This looks like the ideal excuse for the MOD Team to take a long break :D
I no longer develop for phpBB. Check out my .NET blog!

Sorry?
That you could think about that. The complete MOD team is busy with the new moddb, phpBB3 stuff, validating mods that are currently in the queue and other things. We are all working hard to fix the moddb, but it just costs some time, and we are ALL volenteers. We has all jobs/school/other things in our normal live. Yust wait, and be patient until its finished.
