ok version RC2.0.0 has been released.

now has admin controls and fixed all know bugs. This is a full rewrite so any info from older versions will be lost.( a way to get around that is to install this one and just post an announcment for users to update their characters. Only reason i say info is lost is because i have a new way of pulling info. also dropped 2 rows in the characters table (lvl, slvl.. no longer needed)

this version has the AHT expansion integrated. serverlist/ nation flags is admin controllable also; as well as displaying info in profiles and topics.

let me know what you think. im going to get to work on my myspace mod now then when i finish that i will be adding a lot more to this mod

updated 1st post.

here the link for the latest version
http://thebladepact.com/extracrap/FFXI_ ... 2.0.0a.zip

there is no upgrade script for this. Maybe later i can write one, but unlikely

you will need to put these in your lang_admin.php
manually if you already installed this.

Code: Select all

$lang['User_FFXI_delete'] = 'Delete this users FFXI Character(s)';
$lang['User_delete_FFXI_explain'] = 'Click here to delete all FFXI Character info of this user.';
and this into your lang_main.php

Code: Select all

$lang['Viewing_FFXI_Characters'] = 'Viewing FFXI Characters';
$lang['Editing_FFXI_Character'] = 'Editing FFXI Character';

updated zip...

sry about that.

ok, was checking over a few issues the old version had... had to update a few files.

so now i have v2.0.0a

to update just overwrite the old files.

if you have to do any editing it will be to lang_main

and i believe its just for this

Code: Select all

$lang['FFXIEDIT'] = 'Edit';

Hi just checking back in to see if you have or know of anyone else who has made a module like this for phpnuke. I posted a few months ago :D

This mod is so awesome and would work perfectly if I could integrate it for phpnuke for my HNMLS.

If you'd like to see my site its at http://www.magicsnight.com

I was wondering if it would work if the DB queries were changed from phpbb_user for example to the nuke version of nuke_users.

Square-Enix has put out news on their linkshell community beta, which allows for dynamic listing of LS member stats(levels, rank, titles, synthesis, etc), an online chat linked to the LS and more. Link

I wonder how it'll turn out.

Yeah I saw that, but I try to avoid anything POL and SE related cause they frankly suck. :D

That would be an outside link as well. I'd like to have an actual module thats -inside- my portal site. Thanks though :D

since i have never used phpnuke, i have no clue, but i don`t see why it wouldnt. thought you will have to edit the files to make sure it pulls from the correct table.

as for the SE linkshell community beta, i`d say its about time, but most likely it will be crappy and slower tha snot, whole reason i got ride of the community tool in the first place.

Hey Jade, you're right about the crappy part. It's still in beta and it does give very dynamic display of LS members stats. However, it still requires that individual members sign up to have them listed in it. Which is sort of a drag.

On top of that the message board has no catagories. There is no gallery to place even a single image and that, I swear, blows.

It is by no means a replacement for a website with a good, catagorized forum and a gallery module. But it'd be nice if Square develops something similar to what XBL does with their gamertag code to help us pull our character info from their servers into our own websites. :?

I think I will take it over. I'm already running through most of the code and optimizing it anyway, so I think I could make it better.
