Did you previously had statistics 215 installed?

If you had that version, check includes/constants.php for the following lines:

Code: Select all

define('MODULES_TABLE', $table_prefix . 'stats_modules');
define('STATS_CONFIG_TABLE', $table_prefix . 'stats_config');
If they are there, you have to delete them.

I also don't want to include the link to the Statistics page in the main menu.
I rather have it hidden in the ACP under the Statistics menu.

Can anyone inform me which file(s) i would need to go in to and alter to achieve this link in the ACP?

Code: Select all

OPEN:
admin/admin_statistics.php

FIND:
	$module['Statistics']['Install_module'] = $filename . '?mode=mod_install';

BEFORE, ADD:
	$module['Statistics']['Statistics'] = '../statistics.php';

EOM
Enjoy!!

Top words PAK

Post by moltra »

Is there a way to make a module for this to pull the top words out of the forums?

I know there was a module for a previous version of this program. Thanks

That module is allready included in this version.
Go to the ACP and go to Statistics/Install Module and select in the screen the pak you want to install.
There are 22 modules you can install, one of them is top_words.pak

Hi,

I think it is not needed to comment the dbpasswd unset out. I wrote a very small mod what disables the protection in some files. You may use it (It is GPL'ed) and of course change it. The mod is:

Code: Select all

very nice mod, but a little unusefull for statistics mod.
Commenting out the line is only needed for installing statistics mod, after install it can be uncommented again.

Why don't you make a better installer then, that doesn't need that temporary change. I think many people will find that more useful.
