Most of that text seems to be what I've put in the notepad (I haven't edited it because I might edit out something that will help fix it, it's only about codes anyway), and it came up when I tryed to edit the general settings.

You mean like the coding in the files? Well, I didn't add the code (the ohter admin did), so he knows what he edited and stuff (I'll notify him of this thread when he gets back). I can't check the files for myself because the download link doesn't seem to be working.

I typed in "test", and it seemed to work fine. It must be something in that text that is making the error. It might be the PHP?

i just tried that exacty text with my notepad, had no problems. could you try one more time to confirm? and which version of the mod are you using?

Still problems. I'm putting the text in the main notepad, and then I try to edit the Site name (in the General Configuration section of the ACP). When I click submit, I get that error.

I'm not sure what the MOD version is (I know that I added te code quite recently, maybe a few weeks ago), but I know I'm using PHPBB 2.0.21.

so where is the problem, in the notepad or the sitename

Oh, version 1.0.4. The problem must be with the notepad - Once I deleted the notepad's contents it worked fine, but when I re-added them it didn't work.
