Awesome idea!

If you integrate Scooby's idea it will be almost exactly what I'd envisioned.

What I was going to work toward was to integrate this into the forum subcategories mod so that user forums and hosted forums are a subcategory.

Please make it integrated with usergroups, I was planning to use the usergroups in this way.

I am going to do some work on it this afternoon and I should get the Admin page 100% complete unless I run into a major hiccup

I don't think I will have time to incorporate Scoobie's idea until school holidays though.

No worries... whenever you get a chance - I'd think this one would make one of the most useful MODs in the community

Anyways good luck with your exams - don't work too hard!

If possible can the group page idea be integrated with subcategories?

This will make for a less cluttered index page if many users start making their own groups and forums.

I have a few more ideas about this that would add some cool features but would probably complicate things so lemme think about em some more.

It wouldn't really be cluttered because the user forums created using the usergroups would be private - a member would only see the ones that they have subscribed to

I like that! Any chance of making the usergroups hidden as well?

My "lofty" ideas would be to allow the created forum to have its own sign up.

When people sign up using this registration form they'd already be a member of that person's usergroup.

This way the owner of the private forum could get users to sign up directly to his/her forum instead of the 2 step signup.

This might prevent the forum owner from spamming the boards to get members for his usergroup.

Keep up the good work, this is a fantastic idea.

DJ P@CkMaN, I would like to use the + mini icon for the header that was on your screenshot. Could you post it here? Thanks. SP

This is one of the best ideas i've ever heard. I was searching for excactely something like this. Please keep going on with it!! good job.

Especially integrated with the hierachies mod it would be really great.

Could you make it so that you can assign ppl to be the overal admin of their part of your board..

And by the way, you said this

I would like to help you devellop this board by hosting a demo site with subSilver theme. If you still need a host, let me know, email me or something.
