When it gives you the 404, what is the address the browser is at? I really dont know why it is giving you a 404, it is all the same file.

Resolved the issue by myself. Great mod, I find it really useful to clear
zero-posters out as they either aren't active on the forums, or are just
trying to hack their way into ruining our boards. Cheers! :)

This is because you did not copy the template files to the folder for AdInfinitum, you may have copied it to the subSilver direcetory but not to this one.

Yeah, I noticed it just as posted and fixed it myself. You're darn fast ;)

I got another problem instead though, when I try to delete someone I get this
error message.

Code: Select all

Could not insert data into pruned users table

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'xxx_com.cabal_pruned_users' doesn't exist

INSERT INTO cabal_pruned_users ( deleted_by, delete_time, data) VALUES ( '2', '1169996468', 'a:8:{s:7:\"user_id\";s:3:\"197\";s:8:\"username\";s:7:\"Isoldie\";s:10:\
"user_email\";s:12:\"xxxx@o2.pl\";s:12:\"user_regdate\";s:10:\"
1169808542\";s:14:\"user_lastvisit\";s:1:\"0\";s:19:\"user_last_login_try
\";s:1:\"0\";s:11:\"user_active\";s:1:\"0\";s:10:\"user_posts\";s:1:\"0\";}');

Line : 158
File : admin_prune_users.php
I did run the SQL query as instructed in the installation file.

I see your db prefix is cabal_. By default it is set to phpbb_ in install files. You have to change the table name to cabal_pruned_users in the query then execute it.

Hmm yes, I did change the domain in the code before running it. Will try again.

EDIT: Works now for some reason, I really have no idea why. But it does, anyhow. Thanks a lot for your help! ^^

When it lists the users, every single user listed displays "Last login try" as never. Why is this? At first I thought this result was showing everyone I basically wanted to prune out from my userlist, but it was listing people that have logged in recently...

Last Login Try means last failed attempted login. It is set to never because they never failed to log in.

Great mod! I've been looking for something like this for a long time! Thank you...

BTW, is this mod EasyMod compatible?

Edit, yes it is :)

Hello kkroo,
your MOD now is included in the first beta release of my Advanced Admin Activation Pack: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=492864

Three ideas for your MOD:
1. Autoprunning would be great!

2. IMO it would be better not to build customized queries. IMO it would be better to set permenant settings for standard wishes:
  • delete not activated users - settings: delete after x days or weeks
  • delete zero posters - settings: delete after x weeks, months or years
  • delete old or inactive users - settings: last login x months or years ago - optional minimum count of posts to prevent from deleting
Put these settings into a config table for your MOD or into the phpbb_config table and into the ACP page board configuration.

3. Displaying the PM count IMO would be a helpfull information too.

Thank you very much for allowing me to add your MOD into my MOD pack!

Bye Martin

Hello,

Fantastic MOD by the way, most helpful.

I'm not sure if its relivant or you would consider adding this feature in future, but the ability to restore a deleted user from the "pruned_users" table would be most helpful in the case of accidental deletion.

Cheers,

Ian

Hello kkroo,
I've made it a little bit clearer: http://www.martin-truckenbrodt.com/down ... unning.xls

IMO an extra ACP page is necessary for the User Autoprunnnig Settings.
Your page could be used in future again for diagnosis e.g. to check the success of the settings.

If you want I could help you to programm this.

Bye Martin
