Post by Synaptic Anarchy » Sun Jan 07, 2007 11:37 pm

MOD Title: Simple Subtemplates
MOD Description: Allows an admin to assign any installed style to a forum (rather than having them create sub-templates of the same style)
MOD Version: 1.0.0a
phpBB Version: 2.0.22

MOD Format: MOD

MOD Download: [ here ]

Demo: [ here ]

Credits: evil<3 walking me through the phpBB template system and helping me find the best way to make this work.

phpBB Version: 2.0.22

MOD Format: MOD

Demo: [ here ]

Credits: Thanks to evil<3 for walking me through the phpBB template system and helping me find the best way to make this work!

This is the first MOD I have written and released.

This MOD is aimed toward the forum styles on phpBBstyles.com, but will work with any style. You can now create a specific atmosphere for your forums by giving them their own color scheme without creating new subtemplates, etc. Just install the styles you want and select them from a simple drop-down list in forum management!

Works nicely :D

Can you add an option for "None" and have that option set a value of "0" in the database. I manually edited my database for a forum id and set it to "0" and now it uses the boards default theme for that forum id. As of now when I edit a forum I am forced to choose a style to use :(

Thankx :!:

The next version will include a "none" option.

This mod is what I need. I think, it is a great mod.
I wanted to download the mod, but when I go on the download-link, there is a 404-error.

I have searched this mod on other phpbb-sites, but I found allways only the broken download-link to the site of Synaptic Anarchy.

Is it possible to post a correct working download-link oder to sent me a mail with a download-link oder with the mod?

Thanks very much and please excuse my bad english.

Greetings

Re: [RC1] Simple Subtemplates / Style during composing an Answer

Post by fro_zen » Sat May 19, 2007 2:45 pm

Many thanks for this MOD, have installed it and like it a lot!
One question though: when answering to a post the standard CSS is being used, thus switching between the two styles. When the anser has been posted, the individual forum style is displayed.

Any chance of fixing this or giving me a hint how to achieve the style also while writing an answer?

thanks!
