I would recommend starting with a fresh, unedited copy of admin_userlist.php, add the PM Count MOD Add-on and seeing if the issue still exists. It works fine on my server. If it still doesn't work then let me know. If it does work then you can add in the filter MOD and see if it breaks the sort order. Alternatively, I can troubleshoot your forum directly. That would require FTP access. Let me know.

I followed your advice and replaced my admin_userlist.php with the pre-edited file you supllied with the MOD.
This made the sorting for PMs work nicely.
I then added the Filter Addon to your file and found the PM sort order still works as it should.

I obviously made some kind of mistake with my edits. I didn´t find out where I went wrong but to be honest I can´t really be to bothered either, now that things are solved.

I guess I´ll forget about the Sort Order Addon as that interferes with your Addon and I find yours´ more usefull than the SortOrder Addon.

So thanks again Er, you solved my problem. :P

MOD Description: Allows administrators and moderators to view the total number of PMs sent
by users in their Profile and on the Memberlist. This version has been tested and works with phpBB 2.0.22.
MOD Version: 1.1.1
Hi, love the idea and would like to install it but I have a heavily modded board, are there any known conflicts with other mods? Also, can the mod be installed not to show the PM numbers on the userlist, mine is all customized.

Cheers,
Gene

It is unknown whether the MOD will confilct with other MODs as I just wrote this one. I'd be happy to take a look at your forum and see if there would be any issues. You can leave out any of the report areas if you wish by not making the template edits and corresponding PHP script edits for that particular page.

Cheers!

Question over MOD: PM Count MOD v1.1.1

In the Memberlist the Count is "0" but in the profile is "1"
All other Users in the meberlist have "0", too.
What is wrong ? Do you have forgot code for file memberlist.php ?

Thanks for help

Hi Doc,

Installed the Mod to show in the profile and in Admin userlist and something is wrong, sent 2 PM's from a test user to 2 existing test users and it showed 6 PM's in both the profile and userlist. I created a new user, sent a PM to another and it showed 2 PM's sent.

Any idea on what's going on?

I'll need to take a look at the code. I'll be able to do this tomorrow (Wed.) and get back to you.

Cheers!

This sounds suspiciously like you may have entered a line of code twice. Did you go back through the installation instructions to make sure they were performed correctly?

You were right, I inserted a line of code in the wrong place, shows the right numbers of PM's but now I have to fix the sort option in Admin userlist, doesn't work.

Cheers,
Gene

Do you have other Admin Userlist MODs installed or is it a 'stock' admin_userlist.php file. If stock, you can just used my pre-edited admin_userlist.php.
