Have you tried importing the corrected SQL file above ? A series of typos slipped in and one field was missing. Maybe there are some other things missing too that I have overlooked.

Basically, all I did was compare the update SQL files with the one used for a fresh installation to find out what was missing.

I've got the same error

Yessss... I've got it 8)

Question: How can i delete the "Test Category"? Or how can I reName it? There's another problem... when I download a file, I get a "blank" Page with this error:

Code: Select all

Not Found

The requested URL /100000000000test.jpg was not found on this server.

For the moment you have to delete categories manually in the database I'm afraid (category information is stored in phpbb_pa_cat). You can probably rename the Test Category through the Admin Control Panel, though. Also, the upload function doesn't seem to be working properly. Read previous posts for more details. Linking to offsite http:// URLs, as long as they contain a file name at the end, should work.

All right ... thank you very much! I think, this bugs will be fixed in the next Version? :D

Now, I linked a file with the URL (http://www.blabla.com/blabla/bla.wmv) ... everything is ok ... I don't get the "blank-site" ... but in the Categories overview ... ähm ... it don't show the file. It alway's shows "zero"...but there is a file in there

(sorry, my English is not perfect :D )

Here is my problems with the mod some is allready mentions:

1. When I approve a file in ACP the field file_dlurl in this tabel phpbb_pa_files get a wrong url. The wrong url is www.domain.com/100000000000 .
The URL should be. www.domain.com/[file_dir]/[unique_name]

2. when I go to this my_domain.com/dload.php the cell Files doesn´t show the actuel numbers of files.

3. when you email link to a friend the link is http://www.domain.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1 instead of http://www.domain.com/dload.php?action= ... &file_id=1

Apparently, the file name variable is being concatenated with MAX_FILE_SIZE. This is instead of the path + file name. This value is present as a constant in the following files of the project :

- pa_file_add.tpl.php
- pa_admin_file_add.tpl.php
- pa_admin_file_edit.tpl.php
- pa_file_add.tpl
- pa_admin_file_add.tpl
- pa_admin_file_edit.tpl

With the exception of pa_admin_file_upload.tpl that contains a similar but greater value.

Here is a problem that appeared with the e-mail function. I compared the URLs that appear after a file has been rated or an e-mail has been sent :

Code: Select all

http://www.awebsite.com/phpBB2/dload.php?action=file&file_id=nn
http://www.awebsite.com/phpBB2/dload.php?action=file&id=nn
As you can see in the second link, the expression that's after the ampersand should be 'file_id'. I think the problem can be fixed as follows :

Change line 147 of pa_email.php :

Code: Select all

...
($lang['Click_return'], '<a href="' . append_sid('dload.'.$phpEx.'?action=file&id=' . $file_id) . '">', '</a>')
...
To :

Code: Select all

...
($lang['Click_return'], '<a href="' . append_sid('dload.'.$phpEx.'?action=file&file_id=' . $file_id) . '">', '</a>')
...
Newest files

Here is a message that appeared when I click on a date to see the files that have been added :

Code: Select all

Couldnt Query stat info

That's nice to hear Mohd :) . Sorry, about the lengthy posts (and other things ). Hope I didn't say anything that was complete nonsense. I'm quite excited about getting this mod to work and I just wanted to fix a few things to the point where some functions worked as they should.

Hehe, I haven't actually got round to fixing it though I am slowly getting round to pinpointing where the problem is. I'm slow when it comes to weeding out bugs. This and other things will probably be fixed in the next release. It is said that, "all things come to those who have patience" :) .
