This mod is for phpbb webmasters who utilize CafePress to sell merchandise on your site. I was tired of my users always having to go to the CafePress website just to look at what I had to sell. I found a script that was written for a phpnuke mod and incorporated it to fit into phpbb. I'm not sure if others can use this, but I sure did!!

DESCRIPTION: With the use of this mod, webmasters will be able to intergrate there Cafe Press store into there site. When customers click on your product, they are automatically taken to Cafe Press website for further action.

DEMO: Here
[UPDATE] 25 AUGUST 2003 DOWNLOAD: Here

Please post any bugs or problems you encounter.

**A big thanks goes out to Dean for updating the linking problems with the new cafepress templates.**

UPDATE Completely restructured cafeshop.php. You input your store id in "includes/constants.php"

Nice one!

Shouldn't take much to get it more integrated using the template system.

Yeah that is the part I'm having problems with. I want a nice block around it like phpbb has, but I can't figure that out. I know I need to add a .tpl file, the problem is how? I don't understand how I can get the output into a .tpl file.

**EDIT**

Ok.. so far.. I figured out that I need to add:

Code: Select all

$template->set_filenames(array(
   'body' => 'my_template.tpl')
);
also:

Code: Select all

$template->pparse('body');
to cafeshop.php

Any help would be appreciated. :D

Howzat? - http://www.netclectic.com/dev_forum/cafeshop.php

Could probably do some work on replacing the cafepress stylesheet bits to use the forum stylesheet, but not bad for starters.

Thanks neclectic for your help with the template file.

**UPDATE** CafePress_Mod 0.9.1 New Version

Users that have already downloaded 0.9.0 should update to 0.9.1 to get the full benefits of this mod.

To update from 0.9.0 just upload included files. That's it!!

The CafePress_Mod 0.9.1 is available for download and is in my first post.

I added the proper language scripts to the template file and made it a full blown template!! I also added a {L_INDEX} link as well!

Please let me know what you think and if you like the mod!

I'm glad everyone likes it. I'm going to go ahead and submit it to the Mod's Database and see if it gets approved. Then I can start working on some other features if there is a need for it.

***Question for mod's*** How/Where do I go to submit this mod once I get it ready for submission? I looked at another thread and tried to register, but I didn't receive a confirmation email.

Thanks

I'll be working on that in the next version. I just want to get this initial beta out in the streets first. :D I'm not sure if that can be done yet because I'm getting the template straight from CafePress website.
