Thank to you !
Actually you can choose who view the banners :
Show to users: (Select witch type of users should see the banner)
User must be : (Equal/less or equal/greater or equal/not) to (Guest/Registered/Moderators/Admins)

Remember that you can test it in my demo board !!
(Pleace do no delete anyone, just disable that you don´t want)

Hello,

Last one, I think :P

Please edit your topic title with a prefix as outlined in Modifications Development Forum Rules, section 3.a. This will allow people to see the development status of your modification at a glance.

It will be great if you can integrate option to choose who can view banner based on number of post where you can enter number self and Sultani suggested to display or not for usergroups.
For example Do not display if user has more than x posts (Leave blank to disable): ; Exclude These Groups: etc...

This is what I've been looking for! OMG I'm so excited to find this MOD, I'm shivering!
I've already installed the Complete Banner Hack, and I've edited some of the banner positions myself.
How can I integrate with this one? I would like to make use of the feature where you can place banners in different forum or topics! :D

I am grateful for your comment.
Considers my MOD as an update of the previous one.
I suggest you uninstall "the Complete Hack Banner," but if you are interested, I can do a text file on how to change from one to another.
Have you visited my demo forum?
Another question: your use subsilver template?

Yes, I've tried it out. And I am using subSilver too.
I like how you changed the weigh into "stacking the banners" instead of "how often it show"!
But how do I show a random banner at the same position?

I am looking into the codes now...but I am not very good at it.

I wanna change the index positions to the entire forum, like the original Complete Banner Hack used to be.
So I put the codes into overall_header.tpl & overall_footer.tpl instead of index_body.tpl right?

I would like to place 2 leaderboard banners on the top of the forum, as shown in this picture here:
http://forum.anggugu.com/images/banners ... portal.gif
How do I do it without using top_row.left, top_row.center etc?

By the way, I'm using the Forum Sponsors MOD by EXreaction also.
I would like to place the viewforum & viewtopic banners in the position like that.

Yay! I've did it!
Just when I gave up and restored my backup files, I use only the database settings and the admin files from your MOD. And somehow it worked as I wanted it to be!
You can visit my forum here and have a look, but its in Chinese though... ;)
Thank you for your MOD, although I'm not using it, but it did helped me a LOT! Cheers!

I am working on the proposal to include/exclude usergroups & based on number of post, and I have a question:
If the admin is mod and belong to a group.
What option prevails Admin/Mod/Usergroups?
And the same for number of post ! If the min. poxt is 10 and the admin/mod/group have less ...
What option prevails user level/post?

I used to think that the Administration should be higher, but with my Mod is the ease of placing text messages and alerts to users.
Suppose that the forum is very large, and has many moderators, we can put a text read: "ATTENTION MOD NOT DELETE MESSAGES".
Now I think that the hierarchy should be usergroups->Mod->Admin,

Or should treat each level independently?

What do you think?

PD (PS) : I'm working on a new feature : to place images like "rotator banner" in the header.

  • addes groups options.
