First worry about getting a beta out and tested, once most requirements is done worry about how to automate.

I really feel that automation should be way down the list.

Agreed. I have earmarked automation for 1.2.0 ;)

Just ran the first alpha....and it knocked over my apache box :(

I think I know what th problem is, but not releasing until 110% sure..

Not sure if it is any help - but VBulletin has this script as a plugin - and its VERY solid. Might provide you with a template of sorts. Would be much the same process - you are just pulling your data from different tables with different variable names.

There is a cron type dll on sourceforge that runs in the bachround on windows.

It accesses a very simple text file anywhere on your pc.

You could VERY EASILY instruct it to run your email page at a given time, and its a heck of a lot less of a hog than win scheduler...
