restrict posting links...

What I want to do is restrict people from posting links until they've made at least 25 posts. I looked and didn't see a mod for this so I was wondering if anyone could come up with one?

Do you want the links to be completely gone, or just be inactive (text remains)?

I want them to be unable to post them...maybe a message could show up when they hit submit taking them to a preview screen and saying that they aren't authorized to post links.

Yeah, but will you still allow them to post http:// and www. lines (not with hyperlinks attached), or not even that?

Ok let me explain the purpose behind this and maybe that will help. I get sick and tired of trolls who register on my site with their sole purpose being to promote their board. They don't stay and chat with us, they're not interested in us, they just want more business for their board. So I want to stop them from doing that. I don't mind people advertising other boards on my site if they're a member and hang out with us too... See what I'm getting at?

they will always find ways of advertising. ( even though i dislike it as well ) that would be the trying to stop from letting them post 1337 talk. some things can't be changed... ( sighs )

What would really be nice is to have a mod that can do what was mentioned here, but was also able to do what was mentioned in the link I gave, all in the ACP.
