Restrictions for Username, Homepage, Posting of URLs

Post by wg_mithrandir »

Hi there!

Is it possible to restrict usernames with regular expressions (not only like in Admin-Panel with *)? I think that i would be a good idea to ban certain website-urls for profiles (had some porn-spammers) and not only usernames and email-addresses. And of course, guests shouldn't be able to post URLs as well as users that haven't reached a specific amount of postings.

Maybe there are already some MODs out that handle some of this issues? If so, please give me some infos on it.

thx & bye, mith

That is not possible in the default phpBB installation and I know of no MOD to do it.

Just activate the anti-robotic registration from board configuration.
