Non Mysql Phpbb

Will there ever be a non MYSQL Phpbb? As my host has quite large space for my website and php support but it doesn't have MYSQL support.

These are the current DATABASE options for phpBB:
mysql3
mysql4
postgres
mssql
msaccess (deprecated in the next version (Codename: Olympus - phpBB 3)
mssql-odbc

Into a file ... http://www.sqlite.org/different.html. SQLite isn't supported ny phpBB. But it's quite handy for webspaces without a database.

+ Oracle ;)
no install file with oracle.sql, but mysql.sql will work :P

I don't think the phpbb group might ever make something like that. In the meantime, you should use a free database from here if you don't have one on your local hosting server.
(nevermind, i removed the link since it didnt allow hosting to phpbb. Please do not use to host phpbb.)

SQLite will be included in phpBB3 or Olympus
