EasyMod help needed - using on a second forum?

Post by Swerve1000 »

Hi,

I have just added a second SQL database and have added a second phpbb forum into it. I want to test CashMod on this 2nd practice forum and wish to use EasyMod to install it as i'm a noob at the Mod game.

My question is will the installation of CashMod through EastMod cause me any problems as the forum is not installed in the 'normal' directory which I expect EasyMod will be expecting.

Many thanks!

Thanks, does EasyMod require you to fill in the forum location?

No, it just requires you to upload the "mods" folder to your admin folder. You then need to call the script admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php, so fx if your test phpbb is in a folder called "forum" you would use forum/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php

This is not a support forum, nor the support forum for EasyMOD. You should ask over here: http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB
No longer supporting phpBB. PM or email me regarding support and you will be ignored. I'm fully done with phpBB and everything.

I know the rules here at phpBB.com, I follow them.. and I suggest you do the same. (Not intending to be mean or anything..)

Also Quotes from Site Rules....

"Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Only do this if a moderator team member has not replied within 6 hours. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who consistenly "act" as moderators may be warned. #"
