Oh, I forgot to tell you that my router forwards that to my local/testing computer, which is usually off at night. It's Windows with IIS, Apache, MySQL, my own static file server, and a bunch of other stuff...

Oh, wait, I included the semicolon in my link. Here's an updated link: Register if you want.

Anyway, you will also need to setup your firewall. Disable it for now to see if that is the problem.

I added 5 more ports all named shoutcast-8000, 8001, 8002, 8003, 8004, 8005 and the thing is staying at "connecting" of course I added the exceptions to shoutcast, winamp, shoutcast dnas (gui) it aint doing nothing..just staying at "connecting"

please help..

have you put in the info for the radio in the config.php file?

im guessing its this mod here
## Hack Title: ShoutCast
## Hack Version: 1.0.0
## Author: the DtTvB <>
## Description: Put SHOUTcast status on the index.

so if so then you would need to fill in these with your own info

$sc_host = ''; // ShoutCast Host
$sc_port = 8000; // ShoutCast Port
$sc_adminmpasswd = 'YOUR_PASS'; // ShoutCast Admin Password
$songhistory_display = 3; // Number of rows to be displayed in song history, 0 = not show

just change YOUR_PASS with your admin pass

FireFox wrote: Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at

  • If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
  • If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Supposed to happen? :(

Your server is offline.

Got to the page... what do I use to open the playlist.pls file?

Also, use:

Code: Select all

$sc_host = ''; // ShoutCast Host
$sc_port = 8001; // ShoutCast Port
$sc_adminmpasswd = 'YOUR_PASS'; // ShoutCast Admin Password
$songhistory_display = 3; // Number of rows to be displayed in song history, 0 = not show
Notice the "$sc_port = 8001"

I'm listening. That's rock?

8001 port works fine. RealPlayer opens it, so I had to associate... but works now.
