Date of reception on "Sentbox" content...

Post by nexialys » Thu Sep 19, 2002 4:46 pm

i find this awesome to have a "outbox" in my mailbox where my pm are stored before reception of it by the receptor...

problem is even when the pm is moved to the SentBox once it's received, i don't know when it was received...

so i think it would be cool to have a little modification that give the "Received at" date instead of just the "Sent at" in the date field... so we know when the receptor have read and received the message...

:)

BTW... this is a simple hack to do, i just want someone else to do it, because it will be done better...

steps:

1- when received the pm already is "" $sql "UPDATE " . PM_TABLE . " "" thingy.... so we can set it to a new field as "phpbb_received_at" or anything like this and update it to the time() var...

2- in the SentBox, add a row that is after the "Sent" one, giving the "Received at" ... :)

that's all... nothing more to do...

someone is ready to do it ?!
