Individual Forum Theme

Post by Napoleon XIV »

I tried to use the Search function but it seems to be broken for whatever reason so I'm here. :D

Has anyone made a mod that would allow you to define a theme for an individual forum?
What i mean is:
Master Theme is: SubBlue
but when I click on forum "Bob" I get the forum with the special Bob Theme.

There was a mod that did this back in the olden days (1.4) but I dont know if anyway has done it again...

I dont know about diferent themes for diferent forums but i am working on a mod that will allow forums to use diferent "Image Sets". I just started it so i dont have a demo or documentation but if you check the [KMR] post above and the last post by me you will get the idea of what it will do.

That KMR thing looks promising but its not really what I'm looking for...

Is there anyway to set forum #x to use Template y? or at very least use an altered set of pictures and colors...

One other thing to remeber if someone decides to take this MOD on. Only allow that Theme to be set by the Admin. Meaning, when a user visit their profile, that theme name doesn't show up in the drop list of available themes.

Hi,

I think that, whilst possible, switching actual templates for the different forums would be inefficient and/or difficult/confusing to keep in sync.

In a way the solution to this problem is the same as that for the [KMR]
Please and Thank You works wonders...
