While I sit here writing this, I think of everything that I've done in the past with the Group... and I certainly have no regrets. It's had its ups and downs, but I think I've gained something out of it. What? Ok, maybe I'm not quite sure on that. Maybe it's some principles of teamwork, free software, and other things which really have become a big part of my life now. I thank the phpBB Group, epsecially James, for giving me the chance to work on this project. Even though I never really wished to "move on," I suppose that's the way things are going. I don't intend to re-invent the wheel, or create a project from phpBB; however, I do plan to continue coding in PHP for the time being. I don't know how frequently I'll check these forums, but I suspect it'll be as random as infrequent as it has been recently. Anyway, I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we meet again in the future. (I suppose I'll add I'll try to be around the #phpBB irc channel as much as possible, so you can always get me that way.)
Thanks to all of you for making this one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had.
Sincerely,
Douglas J. Kelly
