In memberlist.php find this:

Code: Select all

			'WWW_IMG' => $www_img,
			'WWW' => $www,
and replace with this:

Code: Select all

			'WWW_IMG' => $posts > 0 ? $www_img : '',
			'WWW' => $posts > 0 ? $www : '',

I'm not only hiding website - I'm also using hidden input in registration form. Its better than visual confirmation because visual confirmation is very annoying and it keeps all bots from forum. I don't remember last time I've seen any bot signing up.

Only once in last few month I had one user signed up about 5 accounts (I'm getting email notifications on every signup so I immediately notice any spam attempt), but that user signed up himself. I checked apache logs - he was loading full pages including all images so its not a bot.

Thanks, your solution is simplest to implement and gets at the basic problem with the minimum number of complications.

Good work.

What can I do to remove the website field from the registration page? I don't understand how to modify the code. I need a little help.
