Au programme : un viewtopic plus rapide et quelques... euh... bugfixes. Aucune nouvelle fonction pour la 2.0.2, il faudra attendre un peu.

Here's a bit of a mangled translation of Ashe's comment courtesy of Altavista's Translate tool.

"For those which would still make the amalgam, the 2.0.2 will leave by the weekend and the 2.2.0 will leave by the end of the year (with chance). With the program: a faster viewtopic and some... euh... bugfixes. No new function for the 2.0.2, it will be necessary to wait a little."

...So I guess the cat is now officially out of the bag... :D

More about this: the "end of the week" estimation was based on informations I got from "the inside" :D Minor releases are for bugfixes, I wonder why 2.0.2 isn't out already, even if a 2.0.3 had to follow a few weeks after.

The prediction about 2.2 is totally made up, this would be more of a miracle than luck (=chance) if it was released before the end of the year. However, we will probably be playing with beta (RC?) by then.

PS: for those who care I can also predict the surprising release InvisionBoard 1.0.1 by the end of the week :P

There are currently only two people likely to know the release date for 2.0.2. Comments or suggestions from anyone else are likely inaccurate due to changing circumstances etc.

2.0.2 will be available soon, a couple of remaining issues need clearing up + some testing.

2.2.0 is a distant project (again due to some changing circumstances). A lot of core work has been done but is subject to change. With these core alterations in place work can progress on additional features and improving performance. There is no release date set for 2.2.0, not even a preliminary one. The intention is to release a series of milestones (which only experienced users should make use of) of the 2.1.x branch. Again no date is set for Milestone-1 at this time (it's dependant on fixing the methods/SQL used for auth, sessions, login, templating, styles, forums).

 Lesson evidently to be learned: Even the great Professor Moriarty and his gang could not defeat Sherlock "Ashe" Holmes.

Yes, after i started a topic over there cause a fellow hostee had his invision board hacked (twice), i asked if there were any holes that they didn't tell us about. they said no, and then started to talk that i was from phpbb, which was irellevant to the topic.

So after ashe was offended by something said, he started looking, and found the hole. the only things was, he wasn't given credit for it.

anyways, they've released a patch now.

Thanks Ashe.
