And no apologies to ChaoS, either, it appears, from the couple of community members that suggested that the only possible reason for ChaoS's post was trolling.

Ashe won't get public credit because it's inconceivable that a phpBB user could find a hole in Invision Board ...

Well, one good thing to come of it, perhaps -- I think next time ChaoS posts over there a couple of people at least won't be so quick to run their mouth, lest the wrath of Ashe descend yet again :D .

Yes, thanks for the update. I was reluctant to implement mods in order to get vital features like subforums and post rating, but at least now I know that I'll have to. Bad news is better than no news

I see myself gearing up for another coding binge. Hopefully I can get alpha 2 of EasyMod out the door to coincide with 2.0.2. The question will be if you trust running alpha software :P I think it will pretty stable though since the core parser of EasyMod won't really be changing.

Of course, finding EasyMod compliant mods will be another issue

I know I don't care, I think I am using three, maybe four, Alpha Mods on my board right now, not to mention all the beta. Oh, and don't forget about everything that I found in the Mods page.
Wow... Thats going to be a lot of re-MODing... I hope your up to the challenge Nuttzy

ERghh

Post by Darkfire001 »

Personally it will be both a pain and blessing to me. Quite a few of my mods are partially not working in one way or the other and just waiting for a good time to reinstall them. Also what is the easiest way to submit a hole in PHPBB? A person hacked my forum and did it through a hole in 2.0.1, I dont remember all the details they gave me but I do have a list of where there IP visited on my site. All they did was show me the whole so I could fix it, but I felt violated :D and yes I have tried finding an easy way to submit the hole, but honestly it is a Pain in the arse.

There will be a changelog - once 2.0.2 has been released. 8) In any case, there won't be any new features, but only bug fixes.
