your probably not going to find anyone who will give you what you want..

if you do, their either going to be really really slow or else their going to put tons of pop up ads on your website..

You can host a website on your own computer with Apache? How? What's required?

I've never heard of a host as good as that before. Lycos.co.uk is the best one...

Actually, you *can* use Apache web server to host your own forums.

PHPBB requires MySQL and PHP services, though. Search around, you'll find them.
Stuff goes here.
BUT NOT TODAY!

Just wondering........

Just wondering...........why is it that there seems to be several posts from time to time like the one above??

Is it a cost issue?
Is it an age issue?
Is it a legal issue?

I guess I don't get it!

if you host from your own pc be warned, u need a decent connection, and, make sure your isp allows u cos u will get chucked off otherwise

and also, secure it, not with some crappy firewall

if your server starts attacking other peoples servers, they will report you
