phpBB 3.0

Post by poetic scarecrow »

Hello everyone, I've just registered here but I enjoy phpBB for a long time now. I had a few forums two years ago, but they were all closed down.
About a week ago, I opened a forum using phpBB, and it's working smooth - I realy like this system.

BUT phpBB 2.0 is old. In 2002 it was a masterpiece, but 2006 is a something completly different. Terms like XHTML, Model-Box, CSS, Firefox, OOP, AJAX and more were emphasized since 2002.
I think phpBB should step forward, and take the lead at the Web 2.0's World.

phpBB still have a lot of reputation, and hundreds of followers.
This is the right time to evolve, before it's too late.
