Is there a way to add a pay pal donate button to my site? My members are wishing to donate towards the running costs and I have seen it on some forums?

I looked through the mods but couldn't find a mod for it?

You can just add html into the overall_header (or where ever you want it) to link off the paypal image.

You can get logos from the paypal site.
https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main. ... isSrch=Yes
Then just link that to your account.

eg

Code: Select all

<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick">
<input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/x-click-but04.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!">
<input type="hidden" name="encrypted" value="your_account">
</form>

That link prompted me to download a chinese character set, and didn't seem to have anything to do with phpBB at all, therefore was removed. The rules about posting links are fairly straightforward... if there is a link to a specific resource that's fine. But linking to a general domain is not allowed. Thanks for understanding.

opps sorry it was meant to be to the forum of whatever site that is and i guess i deleted to many of the / / / roots, i wont post the forum link again unless i'm aloud but they do help with paypal on phpbb forums. Its not hard to find on here though, i found it via this board by looking for the paypal subscription mod, i think its the forums of the guy who builds all the paypal incorporated phpbb stuff.
