Now i want to update my phpBB from RC7 to RC8,

If i change only the files of phpBB RC7 to RC8 and maintain the files of the progray style RC7 it works perfectly ?

Or it is extremely necessary to put the new version of progray style RC8 too ?

I updated from RC7 to RC8 with Autoupdate and did not have any problems at all. I guess it will be pretty much like this on your board too, so after a fresh backup you could give it a try ;)

For some reason when I try to access the admin control panel using proGray, I receive this error:
You are not able to re-authenticate as a different user.
What file handles the admin login? Maybe I can investigate this myself.

edit: Nevermind, I got it sorted out.

Hey CyberAlien

I've got a question, can you post the changes from rc8 to 3.0.0, I made some changes to the style and i don't want always to install clean new style, it would be really nice and of course thanks for the updated style.

Changes are exactly the same as in standard proSilver.

The only two files that were changed in RC8 -> Gold upgrade are template/jumpbox.html and template/ucp_pm_options.html.

jumpbox.html: before <!-- ENDIF --> that is on last line add this:

Code: Select all

<!-- ELSE -->
	<br />
ucp_pm_options.html: find this:

Code: Select all

	<ol class="def-rules">
	<!-- BEGIN rule -->
		<li><div class="right-box"><input type="submit" name="delete_rule[{rule.RULE_ID}]" value="{L_DELETE_RULE}" class="button2" /></div><strong>{L_IF}</strong> {rule.CHECK} <em>{rule.RULE}</em> <!-- IF rule.STRING --><strong>{rule.STRING}</strong> | <!-- ENDIF -->{rule.ACTION}<!-- IF rule.FOLDER -->: {rule.FOLDER}<!-- ENDIF --></li>
	<!-- BEGINELSE -->
in that code find this (at the end of long line of code):

Code: Select all

<!-- ENDIF --></li>
and replace with this:

Code: Select all

<!-- ENDIF --><div style="clear: both;"></div></li>

Hey CyberAlien

I've got a question, again :lol:

Where can i change the font size or make it a little thicker (would prefer it) of written messages, they are a little bit too small. Here is a screenshot to show what i mean if i you have problems understanding what i mean.

Edit same css files as if you were editing usual proSilver. This script is not a style builder, it just messes around with colors of any existing style (in this case its proSilver) and doesn't change anything else.
