Sweetness. What was the problem? Cache? As of right now, this is a fixed width template, I'll be releasing a variant that stretches to anybodies screen size soon.

Background error, and title color error fixed in IE. Of course it was IE having errors while Firefox showed fine. Current version is 1.8
Download, upload, refresh all cache.

Very nice style, I'm using it for work as it's more readable and has much better contrast than prosilver.

One strange thing: when I upload the custom graphic for our logo (which should appear at the top beside the title) and define it in the ACP, nothing appears after returning to the board index.

I've cleared caches, messed with dimensions etc. but to no avail. How do I get Bloo to display our logo?

Thanks!

IN OVERALL_HEADER.HTML

Look for:

Code: Select all

<div id="header-02_">
<div id="site-description">
<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
				<h5>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</h5>
				<p style="display: none;"><a href="#start_here">{L_SKIP}</a></p>
</div>
</div>
If your logo has the title of your site and all already on it, just remove the text title to make way for your logo, like this:

Code: Select all

<div id="header-02_">
<img src="logourl" alt="Yoursite" border="0" width="#" height="#"></a>
</div>
If your logo is small enough to fit with the text, do this:

Code: Select all

<div id="header-02_">
<img src="logourl" alt="Yoursite" border="0" width="#" height="#"></a>
<div id="site-description">
<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
				<h5>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</h5>
				<p style="display: none;"><a href="#start_here">{L_SKIP}</a></p>
</div>
</div>

Been getting a couple PMs, so here is how to replace the text title with your own image:

First, what you need to do, is edit or overwrite the image in Bloo>Theme>Images>header_02.gif

Then upload it and overwrite the original header_02.gif

Then you need to edit Overall_header.html in the folder bloo>template

Find this in overall_header.html:

Code: Select all

<div id="site-description">
<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
				<h5>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</h5>
				<p style="display: none;"><a href="#start_here">{L_SKIP}</a></p>

			</div>

REPLACE it with:

Code: Select all

<a href="linkhere"> <img id="header_02" src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/header_02.gif" width="321" height="95" alt="Title" border="0"/></a>
MAKE SURE YOU DO IT EXACTLY HOW I SHOW IT, DO NOT REPLACE ANY WRONG

Code: Select all

</div>'s
After uploading the edited image and overall_header.html, go into the ACP, click on the Styles tab, and refresh the template and theme for the style "bloo"

Thanks,

Your first method works well for using the image to link back to the forum index.

I've had some request for a thinner version of Bloo for 800x600 users. I have updated the original post with a demo and download link. 950 version of the style is for 1024x768 screen resolution and up, and the 750 version of the style is for 800x600 users, or whoever wants them. :)
