Re: [Release] Bloo for phpBB3

I am having a problem with the way the topics are aligning. Here is whats happening...

Someone told me it could be the advertisement on the side, but it is not that. I switched the styles and it worked perfectly.

Well you must have modified it in some way, as you're the only one with this error. Reinstall the style, your ads must have done this.

anyone know how to make the width 100% and fix the bit of the header sticking out in IE6? IE6 is used by too many people to ignore it.

Thanks

Take out the search form in the header to remove that little bit sticking out in IE6.

Maybe if websites stop supporting IE6, morons will catch the drift and learn to upgrade their software.

IE6 is dieing quickly, just not quick enough.

This doesn't seem to be RC6 compatible. I keep getting 'Invalid Form' errors. Anyone Else?

Edit: Never mind, it's an RC6/7 issue.

Is this working with Version 7?

I would like to use this, as currently I am getting bored with the black default style. :(

This style is now RC7 compatible. The current version of this theme is 2.0.0 so please update.

Please report any problems you may encounter.

If anyone's having the issue of the header background extending out to the right in IE, I HAVE FOUND A FIX FOR IT!

In your styles/bloo/template/overall_header.tpl find "#header {" (should be on line 84). Then, between the two curly brackets ( { } ), insert the following line of code (doesn't matter where, just as long as it's within the brackets):

Code: Select all

  overflow:hidden;
This will cut off the excess part. If you don't see anything different in IE after you add this, it may just be an issue with browser caching.

By the way, Frodo, great style. But as others have said, I wish you made the border around the page a bit bigger. I tried to increase it, but I'd have to edit your images, which I don't feel like doing right now.

Question: How do you replace the text for the Site Logo with an image logo?

By site logo, I assume you mean the site name at the top? Open style/bloo/templates/overall_header.html in a text or webpage editor. Replace the following (lines 215 and 216):

Code: Select all

<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
				<h5>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</h5>
with an img tag.

Ok, this is a REAAAAALLLLL newbie question. I'm having the same problem in that I can't get a logo on to my site. So.

Can you give me an example of the code I need to insert/write to insert an img tag?

I've uploaded my logo to styles > bloo > imageset. And the logo is jpg if that matters at all.

Any help would is greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing the style.

The img tag would look something like this:

Code: Select all

<img src="styles/bloo/imageset/SITELOGO.jpg" alt="Logo" />
Of course, replace SITELOGO with the name of your image. And the src is relative to the page you're viewing (index.php, viewtopic.php, whatever), so you just need "styles/bloo/imageset/" and the name of the file.
