Did you check that all the files in the imageset and images folder had uploaded properly, that would be my first guess...

yeah everything is uploaded, has the right permissions aswell

There isnt even the usual box with the red cross there and the mouse-over doesnt give an impression that any image is present.

If you would like a link to see it let me know :)

sorry to be a pain again but there is also a problem with the private messaging system - when you read a pm the top right-hand corner doesnt look right with the Online graphic - not sure if it is because it overlaps the quote button. Pic added below so you can see.

Warning

You must select a template, theme and imageset for this style.

This is the message I keep getting when I attempt to install, but infact I have the folders in the correct places.

and I use the Newest 4 version.

Well no, I've noticed that With another forum I run (fresh install of RC4) It works perfectly fine...but with the one I have had up from RC1 upgrade to 4 it just doesn't refresh right. Idk whats up but I have clear the Cache many of times.

I just tried it myself on a test forum that was upgraded all the way to four and it did same with me. Have now tried it on a fresh install of RC4 and it works fine. Seems to a problem with the RC4 upgrade rather than the theme, which is o ut of my control, I will try to find a fix, but for now i would recommend installing it on a fresh install of RC4 rather than an upgraded version.

P
roblem solved, the .cfgs were faulty, dont know why, have updated the dowload.zip.

Just upload the new versions of style.cfg theme.cfg template.cfg imageset.cfg and refresh the cache....

Let me know how it goes :-) Will look at the pm problem, its probably something simple like a div i havent closed or something lol.

Still doesnt work for me :(

I replaced the cfg files as you said and it didnt work - so I deleted the style then installed again with the updated version but it is still the same.

If you need tips for pulling out your own hair - i got loads :D

As for the template, theme and imageset problem, as far as I remember this is not anything to do with the style but a problem with the RC4 release. There is a fix for it somewhere round here but for the life of me I cant find the topic :(

I did a view of the page source for the seledcted areas and this is what it comes up with:
<dt style="" title="No new posts">

Unfortunately im no good with the style techniques for phpBB - should the style name be put into the the ""? or am i barking up the wrong tree :)
