Actually I changed it back when the switch to center didn't appear to work...

Had a guru make the changes anyway, so many thanks, but disregard... :D

Hi CyberAlien

Is it possible to post also the changes in mod format ? People oftem make some changes in the themes to suit their needs and whenever there's an update like this it is very hard to know where those were made.

Maybe a diff from the old to the new version would be enough.

Is it possible at all ?

Regards,
Nuno

P.S. - Did you check my post on AcidTech (and this happens in other themes too) about the Safari browser ?

in css add this:

Code: Select all

* html .row-bottom { font-size: 1px; line-height: 1px; }
the rest of changes aren't important.

Its a Safari browser bug and there isn't a workaround for it.

Hi, CyberAlien. I just have one question...

How can I make unreaded post subjects appear as a red text?

I tried the simpliest way I could imagine...

Instead of this:

Code: Select all

<div class="postsubject">
<!-- IF S_IS_BOT -->{postrow.MINI_POST_IMG}
<!-- ELSE --><a href="{postrow.U_MINI_POST}">{postrow.MINI_POST_IMG}</a><!-- ENDIF -->
&nbsp;{postrow.POST_SUBJECT}</div>
I put:

Code: Select all

<div class="postsubject">
<!-- IF S_IS_BOT -->{postrow.MINI_POST_IMG}
<!-- ELSE --><a href="{postrow.U_MINI_POST}">{postrow.MINI_POST_IMG}</a><!-- ENDIF -->
<!-- IF U_VIEW_UNREAD_POST and not S_IS_BOT -->
&nbsp;<span style="color: red;">{postrow.POST_SUBJECT}</span>
<!-- ELSE -->
&nbsp;{postrow.POST_SUBJECT}<!-- ENDIF -->
</div>
...which it works, but with a little problem: Now everytime I open a topic with unread posts, all of the post subjects are red, and not only the unread ones.

How can I solve that?

In viewtopic_body.html find {postrow.POST_SUBJECT} and replace with this:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF postrow.S_UNREAD_POST --><span class="post-unread">{postrow.POST_SUBJECT} </span><!-- ELSE -->{postrow.POST_SUBJECT} <!-- ENDIF -->
then in css add

Code: Select all

.post-unread { color: red; }

Great style CyberAlien... :D

Question: How easy is it to add mods to this template?

I am looking to add the "Cash Mod" by Handyman - http://startrekguide.com/community/view ... f=27&t=751

Will this work, If so what are some steps I need to do to ensure this mod will work on avalonblue?

I read in a previous post that this style is based on subsilver2... Do I just need to follow the mod instructions for subsilver2 and install it that way in avalonblue template?

Thanks, :D

I'm having a problem...wondered if you guys could help me :) I added a QUICK REPLY Mod and now the author shows up like this:

style="color: #AA0000">tekyguy

tekyguy is the author...I wasn't anywhere near that part of the code in the viewtopic_body.html.

Any thoughts? Looks like a goofy tag problem but I'm not programmer...just hackin my way around :)

Looks like you've made some typo when adding that mod. Check if you forgot "<" somewhere in its code.
