X10 is better. Much better support and staff and more functions. Here is a link to it: http://www.x10hosting.com/?rid=43351 . 45 gb bandwidth and 2.5 gb space is the largest free. When I used phpnet I got very much false 404 errors

But with x10 you need to login to the forums once every 2 weeks or else they suspend your account

Ive only had to open a ticket for support with phpnet.us once and it went fine. It was answered within a day. My account has been suspended a few times due to inactivity (less than 5 visitors a week or something like that) but thats just because I only use it for storage. They send you an email, you click the link, and wa la your activated again.

but you got false 404 everywhere. I got false 404 on 60% of the cases and they said it was because they need to earn money

He's not even sure what exactly happened to it, so don't jump to conclusions. Even if it was hacked, there are other factors that need to be taken into consideration. If you also take a look at the efforts that were/are put into phpBB3 concerning security, then you shouldn't really be worried.

There was a guy who had recoded this template to be XHTML/CSS compliant, but I can't seem to find the post. Whoever did that, could you possibly send me a copy of the compliant template to my email at <dave@dcomproductions.net>? That would be swell and greatly appreciated!
