In Ineternet Explorer 8 the 1.3.9 style changer is not working. And there is an other issue as well. If you are on the default blue theme, then the style changer just show 4 buttons in IE 8 and Opera 10.63. If I am on a different style, then all style changer colors are shown. In my firefox is the box empty. Nothing to choose from.

And the IE8 gave me that error code:

Code: Select all

You should clear the template and themes cache in the APC.

You also have to clear your browser's cache for these changes to appear right.

As for the error, press this button twice and the error should go away.

Dont know why IE has a problem with this function but I hope to fix it in the future.

I have done both before and now too. Now the style changer images disappeared too.

No difference for me. Deleted browser cache two times and phpBB3 cache 5 times. Still nothing showed up for me. The last version works better for me.

I cleared phpBB3 cache 3 times and then it was ok.

I noticed that color changer is not working in IE9 beta browser.

I cleared my cache.
I'm using Firefox, but users of my forum are using IE, Chrome, Opera and they can't see the buttons too.
Address of my forum is http://www.94-lo2.pl/

In 1.3.9 I still can see the buttons from blue theme (after creating imageset/pl directory). I can't see the buttons after changing the color to sth different than blue.

On your board I can see the images, but the box are slightly out of the right window.

Can you visit my board and does it look and work correctly? It's using the latest version.

They only thing I can tell you is maybe to re-download the zip file and upload all the files again... that might work.

Right now I have re-written the color changer code, havent tested it on the IE9 beta yet but im confident that it will work.

Also will have to wait until the final release of IE9 to see how well it works.

So far ive tested it on Firefox, IE8, Opera, and Chrome and it works.

Screenshots from your forum:
aero blue

aero pink - it's the same with other colors

EDIT: I checked the color changer in IE9 for the 2nd time - it's working, I had to refresh the page. :)

Hmm that is weird, why would it do that?

Are those the only images that disappear?

Only these images disappear. I can see the reply button or other icons but not these.

For some reason it doesnt like the varible {T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH} in multiple CSS files. :?

One way to fix this is to move those images and edit the CSS.

Edit: tested this and it works.
