Post by mkruer » Thu Jan 03, 2008 10:11 am

Name: ProSilver_WS (ProSilver Wide Screen)
Author: Matthew Kruer
Version: v3.0.1.3
Compatibility: phpBB3.0.0

Style Information: Click here

Update to ProSilver for phpbb3 adds Fixes in v3.0.0.1
  • Renamed Style to ProSilver_WS
  • Fixed search by topic text positioning issue
  • Fixed search posts text positioning issue
Fixes in v3.0.0.2
  • Fixed bug that was created by the last update in the viewing of normal topics
  • Fixed PM posts text positioning issue
Fixes in v3.0.1.3
  • Now fully compliant with phpbb 3.0.1
Fixes in v3.0.2.4
  • Now fully compliant with phpbb 3.0.2

This works great in FireFox, and I have not experienced any issues with Internet Explorer 7.

Notes: Style needs to be approved by the Style Team. I updated the location, but you still will not be able to see it until they release it. I am adding a link to an Temporary Alternate Site 276K.

he applied those two tweaks, and moved profile on the left... just that, yes, but he told you about this...

@Matthew Kruer
Thanx a million bro! ;)

Exactly what I was lookin for :
- left profile, with fixed profile width, and only post resize based on the title...
- fixed width of last post, posts... blocks

Its perfect if you got a widescreen, or want a clean template, easier to read for european.

Hail to the king! :D

Not a problem, you were not the only one looking for this, which is way i made it. though i should probably change the name to prosilver2wsed (ProSilver2 Wide Screen Edition) or something. I will look into both those issues.

I don't know what is up with the PMBox. I have not modified anything that affects the PM windows as far as I know. Were you able to verify the PMBox issue against the original template? It might be a bug with the original template.

I am working a fix for the search.

No, dont have this bug with the original template. :|

In fact, this template is f... strange we'll say :D

For exemple :

Code: Select all

.forumbg {
   background-color: #color;
   background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_list.gif");
}
This change only the "colors and background bar" on the index, but not in forums. The "forums top bar" is based on the same code as the header, even if in the code, its the same as the index...

Please check the search now. It should be fixed.

The nature of CSS is one of hierarchy, so the tag you pointed out might have been over ruled by another tag down the path. This is what makes CSS powerful, but it also makes it difficult to track down issue. you might be changing a simple tag, and inadvertently affected everything else with that tag as well.

I am still trying to tack down the PM box issue.
