I've installed the update, and the errors have gone away.

Thank you very much!

I have also installed the update, no errors either.
One thing i would like help with though is Putting a couple of new links in the overall header, that aren't visible when you aren't logged in, like Chatroom
my board address is http://www.downundermonsters.com/forum I have added links I want, but when I log out they are still there and are of a different style, I have very limited experience with code, i can follow steps to change it though.
Also how do I make the tables transparent?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Rats, I'd forgotten to reply... sorry about that.
What you want to do, in order to get them in the same style, is go in "overall_header.html", and replace this part:

Code: Select all

                  <font color="#0000FF" size="2">
                  <a target="_blank" href="http://www.downundermonsters.com">
                  Home </a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
                  <a target="_blank" href="http://www.downundermonsters.com/forum/chat">
                  Chatroom</a></font>
with this one:

Code: Select all

                  <a target="_blank" class="medium"  href="http://www.downundermonsters.com">
                  Home </a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
                  <a target="_blank" class="medium" href="http://www.downundermonsters.com/forum/chat">
                  Chatroom</a>
Theoretically, that should do it. You'll want to change some of that extra spacing to make it work perfectly though…

I cant find a jpg file that says this like the "galarpian_logo" does , witch you just open in paint or some other program to edit.

Any help would be much helpful!
What you have to do is either change your board configuration (because it's the board name and the board description), or edit the "overall_header.html" file to put an image instead.

Where in that overall_header.html should i type in lets say "welcome to my forum" , to get that message instead of "yourdomain.com a short text to describe your forum" ?
If i want to put a little picture there instead and make a hotlink behind it so when someone click the icon/picture they get directed to another site, how do i do that?

Also when you looking at the explorer tab/window it says "yourdomain.com * Index page" , i want to change this aswell!

(sorry for being a bit noob)

Thanks

To achieve this, just go in the administration panel of your webboard, then click on "Board settings" (under "Board configuration" in the "General" tab), and change the board title & description (i.e. this is a general feature of phpBB3, and isn't linked to Galarpian).

Replace the following:

Code: Select all

<td><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#636363" border="2">
<tr align="center">
	<td width="247" height="62" valign="top" bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><span class="sitename">yourdomain.com</span><br /><span class="description">A short text to describe your forum</span></td>
</tr>
</table></td>
with this (replace all the parts in capitals with your data):

Code: Select all

<td><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#636363" border="2">
<tr align="center">
	<td width="247" height="62" valign="top" bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><a href="YOUR URL LINK" title="YOUR URL TITLE"><img width="IMAGE WIDTH IN PIXELS" height="IMAGE HEIGHT IN PIXELS" src="YOUR LINK TO THE IMAGE" border="3"></a></td>
</tr>
</table></td>

Massive thanks! , everything works now the way i want! :)

Hi there,

I also want to put a link back to my home page from the forum and have tried the above suggestions but it won't work. I am new to this so i have posted the amendments I made to see if you can see what I am doing wrong.

<td><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#636363" border="2">
<tr align="center">
<td width="247" height="62" valign="top" bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><a href="http://www.rsmclanau.com" title=":RSM:Clan"><img width="82" height="32" src="images/home1.jpg" border="3"></a></td>
</tr>
</table></td></tr></table>

Thanks in advance.

Sure thing

http://www.rsmclanau.com/forum/index.php

I have attempted to put the overall_header.html back to the original...the link is now gone but the page is still out of wack.

I have only just installed Galarpian and have only made minor changes so I might delete and reinstall and start again...this time making a back up.

cheers

All good now...had </td></tr></table> on the wrong line. Just needed to backspace the last line and it worked out.

What about updating this style to 3.04?

Would love to use it on my 3.04 board.

I'd love to, but with impending exams, I'd be hard pressed to find the time to make the changes, unless someone knows where to find a list of exactly what should be changed for themes based on the prosilver changes…
