well, i guess Mike is done supporting his skins on his own site. last night i posted a question there, and today his "Support" link redirects to this thread.

so, does anyone know where i can find older versions of NoiseBleed (v1.09) and PSD buttons (or at least one blank)? I need to diff it with what i have to find out changes i've made :) so i can finally upgrade to the latest phpBB version.

tia!

if you're planning to use this template with language other then Englsih, where phrase "Last post" has more characters, change space in the middle to   in your language packs, because depending on your user's date/time format last column may shrink, and works "last" and "post" will break into two rows, leaving big space between rows - looks quite ugly. With   no break occurs, and no need to use "nowrap" wich isn't allowed in strict xhtml wich is used in this template.

i love this template, had to make my own new language buttons just to keep it with new version :)

Since Mike no longer supports this theme, I've created set of blank buttons for this theme. You can use it to create any language buttons. Download page »

Hi all,

great theme Mike :D

I have a tiny question. I 've created a flash logo that i want to embed/insert into the right side of the forum (blank side). In what file shall i paste the flash object's code ? I ve tried several from template's .tpl files but couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance

I want to use the ICON FORUM MOD in this styel but the codes are way different from the subsilver one.
The file to modify is Index_body.tpl The mod as the name says, will add small icons images at the left of the title of each post.
THIS IS THE CODE THAT THE CODE TO FIND IN "SUBSILVER"

Code: Select all

	<td class="row1" width="100%" height="50"><span class="forumlink"> <a href="{catrow.forumrow.U_VIEWFORUM}" class="forumlink">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_NAME}</a><br />
	  </span> <span class="genmed">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_DESC}<br />
	  </span><span class="gensmall">{catrow.forumrow.L_MODERATOR} {catrow.forumrow.MODERATORS}</span></td>
AND THIS IS THE CODE I NEED TO REPLACE INSTEAD OF THE ONE ABOVE.

Code: Select all

	<td class="row1" width="100%" height="50"><table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" border="0">
		<tr><td><a href="{catrow.forumrow.U_VIEWFORUM}" class="forumlink">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_ICON_IMG}</a></td>
			<td width="100%"><span class="forumlink"><a href="{catrow.forumrow.U_VIEWFORUM}" class="forumlink">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_NAME}</a><br />
  				</span> <span class="genmed">{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_DESC}<br />
  				</span><span class="gensmall">{catrow.forumrow.L_MODERATOR} {catrow.forumrow.MODERATORS}</span>
  			</td>
  		</tr>
  	</table></td>

AND THIS IS THE NOSEBLEED INDEX_BODY.TPL AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO ADD THE REPLACEMENT TO HERE

Code: Select all

<table cellspacing="1" class="index_body">
	<tr class="toplines">
		<th colspan="2">{L_FORUM}</th>
		<th>{L_TOPICS}</th>
		<th>{L_POSTS}</th>

Mike > Cracking theme. Bags of class. Well done. Thank you.
Others supporting theme > Thank you.

Here's another execution for the faithful. [Moderator edit: No showing off.]

Just a small msg for the few that didn't like it - I think it says more about you than the theme :shock:

What does everybody use for the SPAM guards with this template?

I am getting bombarded and desperately need to have one installed.

Are there any effective ones that can easily be added to his style?

Read - Preventing SPAM - Bots and Humans

The Registration Auth Code (RAC) MOD should be a very easy mod to add to any style.
