Upgrading from v1.0.7

Post by AgaguK » Thu May 26, 2005 6:24 pm

This Style is simply awesome, the best I've seen (to my opinion)!!

Though I'm registered @ www.dumbassjones.com, Nothing is said about a new release of DAJ_Glass in their forum.

Anways, glad to hear there's a new release. I'm curently using v1.0.7 and I love it! I was wondering, is there an update script ( from v1.0.7 to v1.0.8 ) for my board is heavily moded and would hate to start it all over again? If there is none, could you make one? If no, are the changes worth the hassle or should I stick to v1.0.7?

Lots of questions I have!!
Obviously I'd rather have an update script
Thx for a great skin!

sorry no update file. The changes between 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 are mostly just code optimization, a few cell color changes, and a slightly more compacted css file. Also some things were fixed in the admin files, some things were still pointing towards the subSilver directory, and some files were updated to be compatible with the latest release of phpbb.

It would be a good idea for an update script next time though, I'll be sure to include that.

Does this mean there won't be an update script for 1.0.7 to 1.0.8 ? (just want to be sure)

I've downloaded 1.0.8, but as far as I'm having MODS by the dozens on my board, I'm not too sure if I'm ready to go trough all the installations again.

I'll try to install it aside from v1.0.7 (having both on my board). I'm afraid there might be conflict, but I'll try. It would give me the opportunuty to compare both version!

I'll let you know

Ok, first try to rename and use template along v1.0.7 did not work...
I followed all the instructions in phpBB knowledge base, but it still wouldn't work.

Well, I guess it's not so bad anyways. Lots of MODS & home made tweaks actualy installed, so I guess I'll just wait for phpBB 3 to upgrade template.

Very, very nice work.

I could almost adopt this to view these forums. Definately what I consider one of the better templates seen here.

Where can I change these ">>" (near quick links) for something else? I want to do it because I see something like that: ť. I have ISO-8859-2.

Sorry for my english

you'll have to go through each tpl file and change it manually.
