One problem

Post by JMaclean »

I am running a plain vanilla phpBB with ACID style (all unmodified) and I uploaded and 'installed' some smilies that I would now like to remove. When in smilie admin and I select a smilie to delete, I get an error message;
"Template->make_filename(): Error - file admin/confirm_body.tpl does not exist".

Well, I have checked and the file does in fact exist, I am sure the error is elsewhere and this is just what shows up.

FWIW, if I change to another style, I am able to delete all the emoticons that I want. The problem only shows up with this one style.

Anyone else have this problem? It IS easy to work around, I am just curious!

Please advise!!

Many Thanks!!

Update: Downloading Acid_2.0.22.zip fixes the problem - I never thought that the downloads from this system would be old and problematic!

Considering that that file was added in 2.0.20 and this style is only up to date with 2.0.19, it does not actually exist. Copy the file from one of your other styles into Acid/admin.

No phpBB2 styles will not work with phpBB 3.0.x
On this case you must update the style to work successfully with version 3.0.x or the style auteur must willing to do it :)

The install seemed to go well accept that the tables are not lining up. Here is a screenshot:

Am I able to fix this and if so, how and what file do I edit? Thanks.

Only by eliminating the gap between the categories and making it more like the Classic style you have.

In index_body.tpl, change:

Code: Select all

<table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline">

  <tr>
   <td class="catLeft" colspan="2" height="28"><span class="cattitle"><a href="{catrow.U_VIEWCAT}" class="cattitle">{catrow.CAT_DESC}</a></span></td>
	<td class="rowpic" colspan="3" align="right">&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>

  <tr>
